Warehouse Supervisor / Sales Position
Location:
Oregon Trail Seeds, Inc. – Imbler / North Powder Oregon
Experience/ Skills:
B.S./B.A. or higher agriculture degree or work experience in any field of agronomy/ ag. Sales (preferred)
Communication, Excel, Power Point, plot design, data accumulation, sales, and mechanical abilities
CDL (helpful but not necessary)

Job Description:
Ability to learn seed certification/ field certification/ seed testing rules and requirements. Utilize all available resources for the ability to advise and recommend products that are the best fit for our customers.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the agricultural industry.
Use own judgement to plan, accomplish goals and be able to see what needs to be done under limited supervision
Establishing and fostering a culture of accountability throughout the company. Leading by example.
Setting measurable and achieving obtainable metrics for operations, sales, income and any other objectives need to make the company and employees more
Manage employees in conjunction with and in accordance to owner’s direction regarding day-to-day productivity and accountability
Participate in hiring/ firing of staff
Holding and directing weekly management meeting with staff to set weekly goals and expectations, reporting back to Curt at end of week either verbally or written of what was accomplished that week and goals that will be set for the next week.
Labor hour management
Work with customers in sales of company products and services. Maintain sales goals within assigned territory/ accounts. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals. Monitor competitors activity and trends. Required to keep records and prepare reports on sales activities. Knowledge of product features, benefits and use, responsible to do continued education on products and services available to the territories that company services.
Coordinate customer communications. Organize customer meetings to promote and educate on products and services offered. Work with employees to achieve customer expectations and requirements. Work with other vendors to supply our customers with all their needs. Customer relations
Warehouse organization/ cleanliness
Inventory control, maintenance and reordering stock
Order taking and verifying orders are fulfilled for customers
Vehicle, equipment & Facilities maintenance, repair and procurement with owner’s consent
Compensation:
D.O.E. – Salary will be decided by experience and knowledge
